On the one year anniversary of Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties I wanted to share a link to the NBC story highlighting our school district’s adoption and recognition of that day a year ago. Given the ever expanding diversity of our country it is imperative that we teach on the courageous fight of Fred Korematsu to bring about justice for Americans wrongly interned by their own government.
