Over 70 students attended my college application review, the largest group assisted in what has become a popular annual tradition. The 20 readers on hand included graduates of Harvard Business School, Caltech, Cal State Fullerton, Harvard College, Wharton, Rochester Institute of Technology, UC Riverside, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley, and the University of Southern California. Half of the readers were current students or graduates of Claremont McKenna College. I want to thank all of the readers for taking the time on a Saturday morning to help our students improve their college applications, and I would also like to thank the staff at La Puente High School and especially Assistant Principal Danny Monarrez for hosting the vent.
